Now In: Artist Jack Kline Biography
As a North Dakota native, Jack Kline grew up near the Badlands and National Grasslands of Western North Dakota. Forty years of enjoying the rugged beauty of the Northern Prairie has been the inspiration for much of his artwork. Although most of his subjects are wildlife and rural scenic, Kline also enjoys a variety of other subjects, including still life and abstract. Usually working with mixed media, the technique of choice has evolved from a love of scratchboard and airbrush. As a student of nature he spends as much time as he can in the field doing personal observations and photography.
Now living in Bismarck North Dakota, Kline operates a private studio and also is professor of Commercial Art at Bismarck State Collage.
