Ted J. ("T.J.") Feeley is the youngest of three children born in Cody, Wyoming. His father was a construction worker, his mother a nurse. Feeley is self-taught, self-motivated and self-promoted, which is no easy skill in the competitive world of fine art.
Since he sold his first painting almost 30 years ago, Feeley has changed the focus of his art from Indian Villages, Mountain Men and the historical West. He now paints and sculpts the working cowboys he grew up with, the landscape he calls home and the animals that share the land he loves.
